Beky is our first ridgeback. It was coincidence we choose this dog. I remember that I have seen gorgeous puppies on TV in 2002. So we make a decision to bring a new RR girl to our family...
Beginnings were not very easy for us. I must say that I had no overview about breed standart, clubs, breeders and shows. Beky was on her first show when she was 17 months old and got very good.
Beky is from well-balanced litter. Her parents have not got any ancestral illness or dysplasia (Beky is HD and elbow free). Beky is ridgeback medium size (60cm/32 kg) and appearance (red wheaten). She also have typical ridgeback character - she love to sleep in a bed, eat everything she see, hound rabbits, squriells and birds and meet new people. Her eyes and face can tell me everything, whether she is sad or happy, whether she made something bad or want something.
We plan our first litter next year. I would like to find a stud dog that will retain some of her marks.
